Help & Guides — Overview

Back to Help

Quick start

  1. Create your SIP trunk (Trunks ? Create).
  2. Add extensions (Extensions ? Create).
  3. Create an Inbound Route for each DID (Trunks ? Inbound ? Create).
  4. Set Outbound rules as needed.
  5. Use the Reload button to apply changes.
  6. Test: call in from mobile; test ext-to-ext; test outbound.

How it fits together

The GUI writes to the database. Asterisk reads live (realtime) from that database.

Inbound:  Carrier ? PJSIP trunk ?  ? GUI-defined destination (e.g., from-internal,1000,1)
Outbound: Phone 1000 ? <from-internal> ? Dial() via selected trunk

Realtime mapping

/etc/asterisk/extconfig.conf
ps_endpoints => odbc,asterisk
ps_auths     => odbc,asterisk
ps_aors      => odbc,asterisk
ps_contacts  => odbc,asterisk
extensions   => odbc,asterisk,extensions
/etc/asterisk/extensions.conf
[from-internal]
switch => Realtime/from-internal@extensions

[trunks-in]
switch => Realtime/trunks-in@extensions
