Extensions

Create and manage SIP endpoints for users/devices.

Quick steps

1. Go to Extensions ? Create.
2. Fill: Extension Number, Display Name, Secret/Password.
3. Select Department (optional) and Codecs.
4. Save, then provision the phone with the given auth.

Fields explained

• Extension: numeric identifier the PBX dials.
• Display Name / Caller ID: shown to peers.
• Password/Secret: SIP auth password – keep strong.
• Codecs: order matters (first is preferred).
