# PHP Utility Scripts

Standalone PHP scripts that bootstrap the Laravel application but run
outside the web/HTTP request cycle. Use these for maintenance tasks,
factory resets, one-off migrations, etc.

All scripts here:
- Bootstrap Laravel automatically (DB, models, services available)
- Should be safe to re-run when applicable
- Live in this single folder so they are easy to find

## Available scripts

| Script              | Purpose                                                          |
| ------------------- | ---------------------------------------------------------------- |
| `factory-reset.php` | Wipe all dynamic data and reset to a clean state for a new client.|

## Conventions

- Run as **root** (`sudo php scripts/php/<script>.php`) when the script
  touches Asterisk files, recordings, or system services.
- Destructive scripts must require an explicit confirmation flag
  (e.g. `--yes-i-am-sure`) before doing anything.
- Print a concise summary of what changed at the end.
